Red Lobster Adds Spiny Lobster Menu Item

Red Lobster Adds Spiny Lobster Menu Item

On Tuesday, Red Lobster announced that they will be adding a spiny lobster menu item to their restaurants nationwide. The spiny lobster is a type of lobster that is found in the tropical waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

The spiny lobster is known for its bright red color, hard shell, and sparse meat. However, the meat is said to be very tender and flavorful. The spiny lobster will be featured as an appetizer on Red Lobster's menu and will be priced at $21.99.

Red Lobster first introduced the spiny lobster to their restaurants in 2016 as a limited time offer. Due to its popularity, the restaurant chain has decided to add it to their permanent menu. "We are excited to add the spiny lobster to our regular menu for guests looking for a unique seafood experience," said Jennifer Zabinski, Vice President of Menu Strategy & Development at Red Lobster.

The launch of the spiny lobster follows a number of changes that Red Lobster has made to their menu in recent months. In January, the restaurant chain replaced their Endless Shrimp promotion with a new All You Can Eat Crab promotion.

How to Cook Spiny Lobster

There are many different ways to cook spiny lobster, but some methods are better than others. In this article, we will teach you how to cook spiny lobster the right way so that it comes out tasting amazing.

The first step is to steam the lobster. This can be done in a pot or in a steamer insert. Place the lobster in the pot or steamer and add just enough water to cover it. Then, bring the water to a boil.

Once the water has boiled, reduce the heat and cover the pot or steamer. Cook the lobster for 8-10 minutes, or until it is cooked through.

The next step is to remove the meat from the shell. To do this, use a knife to cut along both sides of the fleshy tail meat. Remove the meat and discard the shell.

Next, cut the lobster into small pieces. You can either leave it whole or cut it into smaller pieces. It's up to you!

Finally, season the lobster with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with melted butter or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
